Yes. Completely free. No premium upgrades, no hidden fees, no “pay to see more” tricks. You can create a profile, browse portfolios and match with photographers without paying a penny.

Traditional directories show you photographers ranked by who pays most for visibility. Featured placements, sponsored listings, premium badges. The photographers at the top aren’t necessarily the best. They’re the ones with the biggest advertising budgets.

Phindr has no featured placements. Every photographer has equal visibility. You discover them based on portfolio quality alone.

That’s the whole point. We want you to judge photographers on their work, not their branding or Instagram following. Once you match, you’ll see their full details including their business name and Instagram handle.

When you like a portfolio, the photographer gets notified with your wedding details (date, location, budget). They can then accept, decline or send a counter-offer. If they accept, you’re matched and can start talking.

It’s a two-way system. Both of you have to be interested before contact happens.

Photographers see your budget before deciding to match. If they’re way above it, they’ll likely decline or send a counter-offer with their actual pricing. This saves everyone time compared to the traditional “enquire and hope” approach.

You’ll see the photographer’s full profile including their business name, bio and Instagram. From there, you can contact them directly to discuss your wedding, arrange a call or request a full quote.
